Your old life no longer fits. Your new life isn’t fully here.
You’ve done the work.
You survived the marriage ending. You rebuilt. You reflected. You learned.
You became more self-aware.
And yet something still hasn’t fully landed.
Relationships feel different. Your standards changed.
You understand yourself more deeply than ever.
But understanding yourself isn’t the same as becoming yourself.
I work with self-aware women rebuilding life, love, and identity after divorce or major life change.

Who this is for
This work is for thoughtful women who have already done a lot of inner work.
Usually mid-life.
Often post-divorce or major life transition.
Therapy-experienced.
Emotionally aware.
Capable on the outside. Quietly in transition on the inside.
You may wonder:
Why do I still feel unfinished?
Why does life feel behind my growth?
Why am I freer but not settled?
Why is love harder now, not easier?
Why do I understand so much and still feel stuck?
You may not be stuck.
You may simply be in a period of reorganization.

The Work
Many women rebuild their lives after divorce or major change.
Far fewer have the opportunity to rebuild themselves.
The challenge isn't always knowing what needs to change.
Often you already know.
The challenge is living it.
Building a life that reflects what you've learned.
Creating relationships that fit who you've become.
Trusting yourself enough to stop returning to who you used to be.
Understanding often arrives before becoming.
Insight often arrives before embodiment.
Growth often happens before life catches up.
The space between the two can feel confusing, lonely, and unfinished.
This is the territory we work in.
Together we explore the places where life has not yet caught up with what you know.
The relationships that no longer fit.
The grief of who you've been.
The loneliness that can accompany reinvention.
The habits of self-abandonment that once protected you.
The uncertainty of what comes next.
The challenge of building a life aligned with who you have become.
This work is not about fixing you.
It is about helping you live what you already know.
It is reflection, accompaniment, integration, and honest conversation.

What you may find afterwards
More peace.
More self-trust.
More freedom to be yourself.
A life that feels more like yours.
Relationships that fit who you have become.
More self-acceptance.
More connection to what is true now.
A greater sense that your inner and outer life are moving in the same direction.

About Richard
I came to this work through loss.
My mother's life was cut short in midlife. Losing her shaped how I think about time, change, and the quiet urgency many people feel to live more truthfully while they still can.
It made me pay attention to the moments when life turns, and to how easily years can pass without asking whether we're living in a way that feels real.
I grew up in the UK and now live in Santa Barbara, California. I work with people across the world.
Some have spent years in therapy or personal growth.
Others experienced a life event that cracked something open unexpectedly.
What they share is a specific experience:
They can see what needs to change.
And seeing it hasn't been enough.
What they need is not more information.
Not another framework.
Not another insight.
What they need is a human presence steady enough to stay with them while an old version of themselves falls away and something more honest takes its place.
I've spent years learning what that actually requires.
Not as a method.
Not as a formula.
But as a practice of accompanying someone through the uncertain space between who they've been and who they're becoming.
I'm a Certified Deep Transformational Coach and writer. My essays are on Substack, where I think things through in public. Many people first recognize something of their own experience there:

Testimonials
"I've been working with Richard for over four years. What sets him apart is his ability to hold space in a way that feels profoundly safe and non-judgmental. His questions don't just offer clarity — they lead me back to my own truth. There's something deeply intuitive about the way he works. He often senses what I haven't yet put into words but have been quietly holding inside. That level of understanding is rare."

"Working with Richard is a deeply enriching experience.
His individualized approach helps me uncover and connect with my authentic self, while living with more intention, confidence, and alignment."

"Richard has a special ability to meet me exactly where I am, and even during quiet moments, those silences often feel healing. Our sessions don’t feel like someone telling me what to do; they feel like a journey inward, where I’m learning to trust myself more. "
